10 days of basic training for all summer staff, in preparation for July and August's camps. Sessions include instruction on leading tent devotions and firesides, camp counselling, teaching crafts and activities, camp standards, policies, procedures, and familiarity with the camp's facilities and surroundings. This time of training and growing together is important preparation. It develops team spirit and confidence as we head into two months of self-giving service, expressing Christ's love to campers.
